Description: Ereshkigal is a piece based on concepts from the Mesopotamian myth about Ereshkigal, goddess of the underworld and her relation to Inanna, the goddess of light and love. This piece focuses on the path towards seeking the true self; as one approaches the light, the shadows grow stronger on the wall, and one is increasingly aware of one's effects on the space, the juxtaposition of light versus dark and good versus bad coming to the forefront of the piece.
